Seven Deadly Sins

Seven Deadly Sins

Schapiro Theatre NYC

A tale about a girl named Annie who’s sent away from her home in Louisiana to make her money across America to build her family a house. An infernal journey of seven years in seven cities, Annie’s quest for fame and fortune brings her face to face with each of our world’s most deadly sins: Sloth, Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Avarice, and Envy.

This new adaptation of Brecht's original The Seven Deadly Sins of the Petty Bourgeoisie reinvigorates a timeless satire on capitalism and morality. Is it pure coincidence that the infamous Wall Street is seven blocks long?
